A Portuguese Omelette
Friday, September 21st, 2007
Here at TENFOUR, we’re very sad to see Jose Mourinho leave Chelsea FC.
We’re not Blues; we’re not even big football fans. We’ve said it before though (see No way, Mourinho), we’ve got full respect for the Special One as an expert of the English soundbite. Speaking recently about injuries to his top players, the newspapers quote him as saying:
“It’s omelettes and eggs. No eggs - no omelettes! It depends on the quality of the eggs. In the supermarket you have class one, two or three eggs, and some are more expensive than others, and some give you better omelettes. So when the class one eggs are in Waitrose and you cannot go there, you have a problem.”
Please someone, give him another contract in the UK.
